About Op.Dr. Çiğdem Karas
She was born in 1978 in Bursa. In 1993, she was elected as the Youth Representative of Bursa province on behalf of the Turkish Prime Ministry General Directorate of Youth and Sports. She swam as a licensed athlete in Bursa Municipality Sports team for 6 years and won medals in various degrees.
In 2000, she graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine.
Ege University Faculty of Medicine; she ended his swimming career as Swimming Team Captain.
In 2000, she started her specialty training at Dokuz Eylül University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2005, she received her specialty title by submitting her thesis titled "The effect of low dose hormone replacement therapy on cardiovascular and coagulation system".
She is married to Op.Dr.Cem KARAS, an ENT specialist in Izmir, and is a mother of a girl and a boy.
